G. Transportation
Animals should always be transported separately. Crates should
be made of solid plywood resistant to biting. Where possible it
is preferred to use for transportation the nest-box of the animal.
Good ventilation through wire-netting is very important as there
is a risk of overheating. During the long-distance transportation
the animals should be provided adequate food and water. Transportation
during hot weather should be avoided whenever possible.
